This is really good stuff. Lilly's hummus has a mild, beany flavor and a clean, refreshing mouthfeel. It isn't as oily as other brands. I do like the original flavor much better, but this red pepper flavor is also good. The roasted red peppers give it a smokier flavor that freaks me out a bit because it reminds me of smoked ham. After a few bites, I get adjusted to it. I like to use this as a dip for tortilla chips. This product is non-GMO, organic, and vegan.
Welcome to Monk Island, a food blog with a new perspective. This blog documents my experiences as a roaming vegan with limited time, money, and resources. I search the land for simple, plant-based meals for one person, and I share those here with you. Stacy's Multigrain Pita Chips & Lilly's Red Pepper Hummus
This was my first time buying Lilly's Hummus. It was pretty good. I just had to stir it up before eating. This meal was all "Non-GMO" and vegan.
