I made tamales from a vegan cookbook recipe. The filling is a black bean base and is loaded with other vegan goodies. The outer wrap is mostly made with Bob's Red Mill Organic Masa Harina. I topped this one with a simple adobo sauce. This is my first time making tamales, and I'm very pleased with the results.
